Dennis Avner is one of the most famous people in the body modification world. Most people know him as ‘Catman’, but he also uses his Native American name, ‘Stalking Cat’. Dennis has spent thousands of dollars and undergone many surgeries to look like his totem animal, the tiger.
Modifications include extensive tattooing, transdermal implants to allow whiskers to be worn, subdermal implants to change the shape of the face and the filing and shaping of the teeth to make them look more like a tiger’s.

Julia Gnuse, also known as the illustrated lady, was born with a condition called porphyria which causes her skin to blister regularly and ultimately scar. In order to cover up her condition, Julia started getting tattoos. She now holds the record for the woman with the most tattoos.

Tom was once the most tattooed man in the world, according to the Guinness World Records. Tom has spent well over $5,000 to cover his body in Leopard like spots. Tom is now 82-years-old and lives a simple life.
5. Eric Sprague: The Lizardman
Born Eric Sprague in 1972, the Lizardman was one of the first people to have a split tongue and is one of the reasons why this body modification is so popular now. This 45-year-old has transformed himself into a complete lizard.
Tom has over 700 hours worth of tattooing, five Teflon horns implanted beneath the skin of his eyebrows, filing down of his teeth into sharp fangs, bifurcation of his tongue, and stretching of his septum and earlobes.
6. Horace Ridler: The Zebra Man
Horace is a professional side-show freak! Horace portrays himself as The Great Omi or The Zebra Man. After serving in the first world war, Horace went back to London and started a life of craziness. Just before his death in 1969, Horace stated that he was just an ordinary man underneath it all.
7. Lucky Diamond Rich: World’s Most Tattooed Person
Meet chainsaw juggling, unicycling, sword-swallowing Lucky Diamond Rich from Australia. With over 1,000 hours of tattooing, Lucky is the most tattooed man in the world.
Lucky wasn’t satisfied with getting just design tattoos, he wanted to cover his entire body in 100% black ink. This included his eyelids, the delicate skin between his toes, down into the ears and even his gums.
8. Elaine Davidson: World’s Most Pierced Woman
Elaine Davidson is the World’s Most Pierced Woman, according to the Guinness World Records. Davidson has a total of 9,800 piercings as of late 2016.
9. Paul Lawrence: The Enigma
Paul Lawrence, the Enigma, is the guy with blue puzzle pieces tattooed all over his body. Paul has made a name for himself by performing stunts such as sword swallowing, pushing a moving power drill up his nose and swallowing various liquids, pumping them out of his stomach and swallowing them again.
