It doesn’t matter if you don’t watch Jeopardy at all or often, but you are going to want to do yourself a favor and tune in asap! Because the reigning 10-day champ Austin Rogers is one of the coolest guys on the planet.

Rogers isn’t only quirky as hell, he is rather smart too! After all, he has racked-up $365,400 following 10 straight wins!

Most Jeopardy contestants are all business, stiff and rather boring to watch. There really hasn’t been someone that entertaining to watch on Jeopardy since Ken Jennings, who many believe purposely answered a question wrong to end his 74-game winning streak. Jennings won $2.5 million, which is way more than an average contestant.

Jennings was fun to watch because he won so much money and so many episodes in a row, but Rogers is fun to watch because he wins and he’s so damn quirky!

“They’re completely off the cuff,” Rogers said of such moments. “While you’re up there, before the camera pans over to you, you forget that, ‘Oh no, I’ve got 11 seconds.’ I forgot every single time.”

“He’s got hair; he’s got chutzpah. He’s got broad-based knowledge,” Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek says.

Rogers has a pretty decent strategy on how to win, and it sounds quite fool proof.

“I’m not going to say that there’s a system or a code, but if you watch enough, you’ll start seeing things repeat,” he says. “If it ever says ‘sculptor’ it’s probably going to be Auguste Rodin. If it ever says ‘American sculptor,’ it’ll probably be Alexander Calder. If it ever says ‘Romanian poet,’ it’ll be Eminescu. “I have no idea who Eminescu is, but I’ve seen that come up three times in episodes across the decades.”

Trebek asked Rogers where he got all this knowledge, and the answer was easy.

“Genetics. Luck. Karma.”
