Now this is an oldie but goodie! I can remember seeing this video the week it first came out back in 2006. I found it hilarious then and that feeling has not faded. I think it is time to bring Bubb Rubb and Lil Sis back into the spotlight!
The focal point of the newscast was to discuss the effects that ‘Whistle Tips’ are having on this particular community. For those of you who do not know what Whistle Tips are, they are small pieces of metal that are welding into a car’s muffler. When you accelerate, the air flow causes a loud whistling noise.
Area residents were not fans of Whistle Tips, but Bubb Rubb and Lil Sis surely are! Bubb Rubb and Lil Sis became an internet sensations due to their excitement over the tips.
Here are some things to look for in the video that make this video oh-so entertaining.
1. Bubb Rubb’s constant ‘Whoo-Whooooo’ Whistle Tip impressions.
2. Lil Sis is clearly higher than a kite.
3. Bubb Rubbs explanation of what should be going on in the ‘morning’ hours of peoples lives.
4. Lil Sis shows off her whistle tips for the news cameras and she nearly hits a parked car and blows through a four way intersection without ever stopping.
5. The extreme contrast between the folks who don’t like whistle tips and those that can’t live without them.
6. The way that the news used their names ‘Bubb Rubb’ and ‘Lil Sis’ in their captioning on the bottom of the screen.
