The Internet has been obsessed with brainteasers lately and the one below is actually one that I have thought about many times over the years. I finally have my answer!
This one, entitled “The Monty Hall Problem,” is a little bit different. Versions of it have been around since the 1800s, but it was popularized by the game show “Let’s Make A Deal” in the 1970s. The premise is deceptively simple, but one woman insisted she knew a way to play it that would double your odds of winning. The history of “The Monty Hall Problem” has it all: high IQs, angry mathematicians, huge egos, flashy cars and goats. That’s right … goats. We recommend pausing the video and trying to solve the problem yourself before learning the answer.
