When the guys featured in this video were looking for the perfect spot to break the world record for the longest basketball shot ever completed, they didn’t need to look any further than Tasmania’s Gordon Dam. The massive dam is 126.5m tall (415 feet) and one of the largest dams in the world.
With a basketball hooped placed at the bottom of the dam, one man eyed the hoop from the top. With a simple flick of the wrist, the ball was sent plummeting downward and with a little help from the wind at the last second…swish! History was made, hugs were given and the cheers were loud!
