Looks like the kids were right all along! 

There have been several studies conducted in regards to booger eating…yes…people have spent money on studies for this.

One study suggested that your boogers are full of healthy bacteria that can protect your teeth when ingested. Another revealed that “the mucus in snot could fight off respiratory infections and stomach ulcers.”

One specialist even went as far to say that booger pickers are healthier, happier and know their bodies very well!

“Eating the dry remains of what you pull out [of your nose] is a great way of strengthening the body’s immune system,” Professor Friedrich Bischinger said.

“Medically it makes great sense and is a perfectly natural thing to do.”

Bischinger added that the bacteria collected in the nose acts just like medicine once it hits our intestines.

This sounds great and all…but sweet baby J…you have to actually eat your boogers….GROSS!

I think I’ll stick to my weird green drink from my local health food store!
