A woman named Shelby Mitchusson recently put on a captivating performance of the rapper’s Oscar-winning 2002 hit “Lose Yourself,” performing the track in an entirely different way.
Mitchusson, who has experience as a sign language interpreter, recorded a simple but stunning video of herself standing against a blank wall and performing the lyrics to the 8 Mile soundtrack’s single in American Sign Language.
The Austin, Texas, native explained her inspiration for the recording earlier this month, writing in a YouTube comment, “I have a deep love for interpreting music and would love to share more as I am always interpreting music.”
