Steve Stephens, the so-called “Facebook killer” who sparked a multi-state manhunt after he disgustingly killed a  Cleveland man at random, killed himself Tuesday morning in Erie County as cops closed in, Pennsylvania State Police said on Facebook.

Stephens was spotted by Pennsylvania Highway Patrol. After a brief pursuit of Stephens, the state trooper attempted to pull over the vehicle. At that time, Stephens shot and killed himself.

Stephens claimed in various Facebook videos on Easter Sunday that he had killed up to 13 other people and was looking to kill number 14. Shortly after those claims, Stephens went ‘live’ on Facebook, stopped his car and approached Robert Godwin, a 74-year-old man walking home from his families Easter dinner and shot him in the head for zero reason.

Police have not confirmed any other deaths by the hands of Stephens, other than that of Robert Godwin.

Citizens all over the country have been on high alert since Sunday as Stephens whereabouts were unknown. Luckily, Stephens is no longer a threat and nobody else will be harmed at the hands of this monster.
