A GoPro camera nearly recorded its own death by lava. However, it survived.
The video was recorded by Erik Storm of Kilauea EcoGuides. Erik set up a GoPro camera to capture flowing lava from an erupting volcano. That camera ended up being in the direct path of flowing lava and was consumed by the fiery blob. Remarkably, the camera survived and the footage was released.
Now that’s a tough camera! Props to GoPro!
