Chewbacca Mom couldn’t get enough of how amazing the mask was and how her reaction went insanely viral. Her laughter was absolutely contagious and over 157 million people on YouTube stopped to watch her video.
As you can guess, Kohl’s and Hasbro saw significant increases in their sales.
She provided free advertising for both companies, so it’s no surprise that they wanted to reward her following their large monetary gain.
Payne was invited to Hasbro’s headquarters in Rhode Island and presented with her own action figure. The toy has Chewbacca’s body, but sitting on top of his shoulders is Payne’s head—they had created a Chewbacca Mom toy.
The action figure comes with its own miniature Chewbacca mask and even voices Payne’s laugh and a few memorable expressions from her YouTube video.
