Now this is a super cool DIY project that will surely add a personal touch to any room in a big way!

House by Hoff blogger April Hoff shows us how to create beautiful, personal wall art via Hometalk.

  • Take one of your favorite photo’s to Staples and have them print out a 36-by-48-inch Engineering Print (roughly $8). You can choose any size you want, but for this project the above mentioned size was used.

  • Using two 20-by-30-inch foam boards from Jo-Ann ($1 each), figure out where you want to “split” your photo.

  • Cut your photo into two separate photos with a one-inch border to fold around the foam boards.

Angle the corners and wrap the photos around the boards. You can use double-sided tape to secure the photos onto the foam boards.
