Finnish factory owner Lauri Vuohensilta and his wife Anni, used a hydraulic press to see what would happen if you try to crush an anvil.
Well, the results were rather ‘explosive’!
At first, the anvil was placed flat onto the hydraulic press, but all that did was slightly bend the side of the anvil as it was being crushed. So, the anvil was then placed upright and the crushing began! As the pressure mounted, the anvil showed signs of weakness…and then…BOOM!
