Amy Lippus was camping with her boyfriend and father at Lake Nellie Lake in California’s Kaiser Wilderness Nature Park. As they were all relaxing by the lake, they noticed something strange. Whenever a loud noise would occur, the surface of the lake would come alive, as Amy’s father demonstrates in the video below by yelling the word ‘hey’.

The surface of the lake was heavily populated with water bugs and clearly loud noises startle them. Whenever the word ‘hey’ was yelled, the bugs would move and cause the surface of the lake to flutter.

I have never seen such a thing! Sort of neat to witness! Check it out below!
