24-year-old Ellis C. Battista isn’t the brightest bulb in the pack and he certainly doesn’t hold a candle to the New Mexico sun.
Police arrested Battista after he allegedly broke into a convenience store, took a pack of cigarettes and paid for them. Battista held up the cancer causing pack of smokes so the security camera could see them.
In addition to flashing the smokes to the camera, he also flashed $6 and well, his face.
Police were quite to make it known that there was a 24-hour Walgreen’s just across the street from the convenience store that also sold cigarettes.
