It had been 10 years since Jeffrey Mayi had seen his mom and he has no idea that when he walked through his front door, he wouldn’t have to wait another moment to see her.
Jeffrey’s brother, Axel flew in to visit him in Massachusetts, nothing more than a wonderful surprise visit…or was it? Axel was able to get a travel visa for his mother who lives 23-hours away (by plane) in Libreville, Gabon. Jeffrey is super ecstatic to see his bro, but still has no idea that there is someone else right around the corner waiting.
Jeffrey and his mother have kept in touch via video chat off and on over the years, but the hardship of getting a visa and money kept the mother and son apart…for far too long.
Here’s what Jeffrey’s wife had to say about the surprise:
“Jeffrey’s brother surprised him today by flying in from Florida to meet Christian and I. Jeff’s mom came all the way from Libreville, Gabon. Jeff hasn’t seen his mom in 10 years his reaction is priceless. I love my man and his huge heart. Love my new family too.”
