Truckee, a 6-year-old American Black Labrador, took a long slide down Heavenly Mountain in California’s Lake Tahoe on Thursday, March 9. He is the senior dog of the mountain’s Avalanche Rescue Dog Program, and simply loves to have fun in the snow.
“He slides like this occasionally, when he’s hot or just for fun,” said ski patroller Chris Child. “This was probably his longest slide so far, and I was lucky to get it on camera.”
Not only is Truckee responsible for saving countless lives, he certainly knows how to enjoy his ‘down’ time!
