A Pennsylvania mystery man and his dedicated team of volunteers spent their Saturday dropping off bags of Thanksgiving groceries to feed 150 needy families.

The anonymous donor told Fox 29,

“We started the first year in 2008 with 30 families….this year we’re at 150 families, 3,000 pounds of turkey, $22,000 worth of groceries.”

At Wissahickon Fire Company in Ambler, Pa., the recipient of these holiday meals is the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, which coordinates grocery drop-offs to families, most of whom are caring for sick children.

Mary Berlin, who works at an Easter Seals school in Lansdale picked up some of the meals for her client.

“It means everything to them.  Otherwise, they’d be going to a soup kitchen…this way they can actually have a really nice dinner at home with their kids.”

Other bags of groceries were distributed to area hospitals.

It takes a special kind of person to do such a thing. Absolutely incredible.
