Reilly Flaherty recently lost his wallet at a Wilco concert at King’s Theater in Brooklyn. Flaherty was in an Uber and made it back to New York City before realizing it was gone, then made the driver take him back to Brooklyn, only to find it wasn’t there. He returned, annoyed and tired, back to the city.
Then something incredible happened…well…sort of incredible.
Two weeks after he lost it, Flaherty received a plain white envelope in the mail. Inside was his license, his credit cards, and this note:
I mean…really? Who does this? At least Mr. or Ms. Anonymous returned the truly valuable contents of the wallet as it could have been much worse for Mr. Flaherty. I guess losing a little bit of cash and a metro card is well worth the awesome story Mr. Flaherty is going to be able to tell for the rest of time!
