Ally, whose last name has been withheld, was informed by the school that her 10-year-old daughter, Kaylee, had been teasing another fourth-grader about her appearance, according to Salt Lake City’s KSTU.

Ally’s parents were less than impressed to find out that their self proclaimed fashionista daughter was making fun of other kids because of their clothing.

To teach Ally a life lesson, her parents decided to take Ally shopping for clothes at their local thrift store. While at the thrift store, Ally’s mom asked her to pick out the ‘ugliest’ clothes she could find. Little did Ally know, that the clothes she picked, she would be wearing to school.

Ally, wore those clothes to school and she was indeed made fun of. Ally quickly learned what it was like to be on the receiving end of such horrible, hurtful comments.

Since the punishment, Ally has become best friends with the girl she once bullied.

What do you think of this punishment? Is this an example of good parenting, or bad parenting?
