The incredible moment a humpback whale jumped completely out of the ocean has been captured on film for the first time.
In the rare footage, the adult whale which is estimated to weigh 40 tons, leaps out of the sea offshore on the Mbotyi in Pondoland, Eastern Cape province, South Africa.
‘Dolphins and even Great White Sharks have been seen flying out of the water, but this is a first for an adult humpback whale’, said Craig Capehart, posting on Youtube.
