It’s called the Barefoot Caravan and it is one of the coolest fiberglass campers ever made! 🙂
The Barefoot Caravan is made of one piece of fiberglass on a galvanized steel chassis and includes features like a stylish kitchen with solid oak counter tops, a fridge/freezer and two-burner stove, an electric and propane heating and hot water system, a curved bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, and a 6×6 foot bed that converts into a dinette.
Other features include eco-friendly windows with blinds, a 30 liter water tank, lots of storage closets and cubby holes and a retro-looking Roberts Revival DAB Mini Radio, all within a 16 foot long trailer that only weighs 2,000 lb.
The interior was a challenge for the designers. Cathy Chamberlain, Mike Williams and Ben Matthews of Barefoot knew that the sexy curved walls would cut into the space, so they took extra time to make the caravan as functional as possible. The shower tray has been dropped down below the floor to give the user more headroom, the bathroom sink looks space-age and the upper cabinets dip down into the kitchen, creating an almost Star Trek vibe.
When ordering a Barefoot Caravan, customers can choose their own delightful body colors including “Duck Egg Blue” “Cotswold Cream” and “Graphite Grey”. The colors can also be chosen for the vinyl seat upholstery, kitchen units, and bathroom wall panels and curtains. Even the Roberts Revival DAB Mini Radio can be styled to match the interior decor.

Currently the caravan is only being sold in Great Britain, but Barefoot plans to expand to Europe and the U.S. next year. The custom trailers are around $33,600 USD and come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
