Griffin Furlong is a kid who doesn’t look homeless, or even act homeless.
On paper he has an incredible 4.65 GPA from First Coast High School in Florida. He’s the top of his class and an all-star athlete. But for over ten years he’s been floating around from spot to spot often times unable to eat.
Griffen and his father became homeless after Griffen’s mother passed away from cancer. His father struggled to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. Their father and son’s living situation clearly attributed to Griffin’s drive, never wanting to live like that again.
Knowing he couldn’t change it, he focused on what he could change in the moment. His schoolwork. Check out this amazing kid and learn how he excelled despite his difficult life without a steady home.
