We all hope for a safe arrival home for our serving soldiers, we also love watching our soldiers surprise their family members with an early return. That is exactly what happened when Sergeant Dan Urman came home to surprise his family during an NHL Hockey game.
Eitan and Ronit Urman of Scottsdale, Arizona are Coyote season ticket holders and were asked to perform the puck drop at the beginning of a game. Dan had been stationed in Afghanistan since November of 2014 and was scheduled to return home in May or June. When he learned that he would be coming home earlier than expected, Dan contacted the Arizona Coyotes to plan a surprise for his parents on the hockey team’s fan appreciation night.
