Lets face it, pizza is the bomb-dot-com of foods. I personally could eat pizza every day of my life and be just fine. Health wise, maybe not so much…but mentally I’d be stoked!
The following deep-fried pizza popper recipe is so delicious, that if they doesn’t have your heart skipping a beat with every bite, you may not have made them correctly!

What You’ll Need:
- Pizza dough
- Small mason jar
- Deep Fryer and oil
- Marina sauce
What You’ll Do:
To make these delicious bites, start off by taking an entire roll of pizza dough and flattening it out across a flat surface. Using a small mason jar or some kind of circular stencil, cut out as many circle pieces of the dough as you can. Take one of these flat circles and place a slice of pepperoni and some mozzarella cheese on top. Then, use another of the circle pieces to place on top and pinch the sides of the dough up and together until your have formed the perfect ball around the inside contents.
Once your have made all of your dough balls, place them into a deep fryer at 350°F or 175 °C for about 2 minutes. Once you have removed them from the deep fryer, top them off with some oregano and parmesan cheese to taste, giving them that true pizza spice. At this point, they are ready to serve! Add in a side of marinara sauce for dipping, or serve alongside any of your favorite pizza companions. The possibilities are endless with this dish!
