Car-enthusiast cop Jeff Bloch amazes road users by cruising the streets in a converted plane. The 40-year-old police officer – dubbed Speedy Cop by his friends – combined an abandoned Cessna aircraft with a Toyota van to make his jaw-dropping ride he calls “The Spirit Of LeMons”.
The 27-foot vehicle was originally built for the 24 Hours of LeMons race in South Carolina, US – but since then Jeff has made the car street legal. Jeff, from Brandywine, Maryland, USA, said people follow him for miles to stop him to ask what the plane is and how he made it into a car. The vehicle can reach speeds of 100 mph and gets roughly 30 mpg!
