Memorial Day is just around the corner and what better way to honor those who have fought for America’s freedom than sharing a wonderful story like this.
World War II veteran Sid Shafner traveled to Israel and reunited with Marcel Levy, now 90, a Holocaust survivor he freed from a concentration camp 71 years ago. “Everything I have today, all of my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, is due to you.”
