There are a lot of sketchy people in this world…and sketchy people put two-way glass mirrors in public places….and nobody wants to be in front of a two way mirror!
Two-way glass mirrors have been known to be placed in public restroom, waiting rooms, changing rooms and even motel/hotel rooms. But how do we know if we are being watched from ‘beyond the mirror’? Well, there is a simple ‘hack’ or ‘trick’ to find out easily.
This information has been passed around by a policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars and safety tips for businesswomen.
So here is how you can tell :
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is GENUINE mirror.
However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE! It is a two way mirror!
“No Space, Leave the Place”
So remember, every time you see a mirror…do the “fingernail test.” It doesn’t cost you anything!
