A company in the Czech Republic praised workers at its warehouse in Ostrava after they used forklifts to block three men attempting to escape after being caught stealing tools from a parked van on December 5.
Footage of the incident, released by DEK, a construction materials provider, shows a red Renault parking beside a white van at the warehouse. Local reports said the men in the vehicle then attempted to rob tools from the white van, not noticing that someone was in the front seat.
The men attempted to drive away when confronted but were prevented from doing so by employees at the company, who used forklifts to block the escape. The men were detained by police, local reports said.
