Nasim Aghdam, 39, of Southern California, was identified by police officials as the woman who approached the YouTube campus outdoor eatery and began firing her gun before entering the building of the Google-owned video sharing service on April 3, 2018.
Nasim injured three people and ultimately ended up ending her own life with a single self inflicted gun shot to the head.
Nasim was upset with YouTube for de-monetizing her videos.
Advertising show ads on YouTube videos and the content creators are paid for displaying those ads. However, YouTube reserves the right to not run ads on certain videos.
Nasim described herself as a “vegan bodybuilder and animal rights activist” promoting a “healthy and humane lifestyle.” Her pages were littered with strange workout videos, vegan cooking tutorials mixed with graphic animal abuse videos.
Her website is also incredibly strange and displays many graphic videos involving the harming of animals.
Below you will see a few of Nasim’s YouTube music videos and it is quite easy to see just how disturbed she was.
