Artist Michael Murphy sure has a knack for thinking outside of the box and creating some of the coolest art of the century.
In this piece titled ‘Perceptual Shift’, Murphy uses 1,252 black balls, varying in size to create a truly mind blowing 3D sculpture.
The balls are hung at different heights from the ceiling of an all white room. Once the final ball is hung and the sculpture is looked at head on you are presented with a large image of an eyeball. When the piece is viewed from angles…well…you will see.
