Although Aspirin is good for headaches, hangovers and body aches, there are many other useful benefits to the little white pills in addition to.

5. Have dandruff but don’t like Head & Shoulders?

Dandruff is caused by the dead skin flakes from our scalps; it’s a fact of life (sadly) but it’s still one we can combat. For instance, adding two or three crushed aspirin to your shampoo actually works as a moisturizer, helping to prevent the formation of dandruff at all.

4. Remove all those old stains you’ve been ignoring!

One of the terrible things about most uniforms is that the undershirts really have a way of accentuating pit stains. Instead of buying a new set of shirts every time that happens just make and apply some aspirin paste, then rinse before you send it through the washer. All you need is 5 crushed pills, a quarter cup of water and a teaspoon of honey to make it and it works wonders!

3. Look young and fresh by shedding your skin… Somewhat literally.

The acetylsalicylic acid in aspirin actually works as an effective moisturizer, but it also does a little more for your skin than that. It helps open up your pores; removes dead skin cells, swelling and lesions; it even helps clear up your acne! What you do is you take the paste instructions from before, then simply apply, let dry and then wash it off – simple as that.

2. Keep your garden free of mold, unless you grow mushrooms. That would be bad.

Did you know that when you crush up an aspirin and put it in your garden water, you’re effectively treating the soil to prevent ethylene production and mold growth? It helps your greens grow bigger and your flowers (in vases) last longer.

1. Go Dr. Frankenstein on your dead car battery and bring it back to life!

No this isn’t a joke; if your car is stranded on the side of the road because your battery is dead, you can drop a couple aspirin pills into it for one last hurrah. That’s only possible because the acetylsalicylic acid in the aspirin combines with the sulfuric acid already present in the battery. Now go! Bring the dead back to life!

…and now you know 🙂
