6. A Clean Dry Towel Can Shorten Drying Time
This is simply brilliant! It will save you both time and money!
Every time you dry a round of clothes or towels – toss in an already dry towel! The towel will absorb the water that is in your freshly washed clothes, thus saving drying time! By saving drying time, you are saving money as you won’t have to run the dryer as long!
We wouldn’t recommend using a white towel however…it could leave white fuzzies all over your clothing!
7. Salt Saves Color
If you want to save your clothes from fading color…salt will do just that!
Add a half a cup of salt to your laundry to help minimize fading!
8. Use Your Washer As A Whiteboard
If you have more than one person who uses the washer in your household…use a whiteboard marker to leave them messages! Simply write a note on the top of the washer and wipe it away later!
9. Aspirin For Whites
Toss in a handful of white Aspirin into your laundry the next time you do a load of whites! This works better than bleach and it isn’t so harsh!
