The warm weather is here and Summer is just around the corner! Here is an awesome, inexpensive #DIY paint project that the kids will go nuts over, Water Gun Painting!
*Tip : If you have an impatient child, it may be best to set up the project prior to their knowledge and surprise the with it. Otherwise, you may have someone tugging on your shirt asking if they can shoot yet!
Here is what you will need to get the project started!
Materials:
Tempra paint
Water Guns (The cheap ones are great for this, dollar store or dollar bin at Target)
Water
Canvas (You can buy these anywhere for cheap, $7.99ish for a set of two)
Painters Tape (optional)
drop cloth or old sheet
Directions:
Mix the tempra paint with a little water (a 50/50 mixture).
Use a measuring cup with a pour spout and slowly pour in the paint/water mixture.
Use the painters tape to make the desired design. (My son asked for stars – obviously :D)
Go outside and go to town!
Lay the canvas horizontally and wait for the paint to dry before taking the tape off.
