Photographer Hamid Sardar-Afkhami recently visited this lost tribe of the Dukha people of Mongolia and documented what he saw through a series of stunning photographs.
The tribe believe that they hold a special spiritual connection with wildlife, once you see these photo’s it is certainly hard to argue that statement.
The tribe members train reindeer and use them as transportation, as well as making them part of the family.
The training of animals does not stop there however. The tribe also trains wolves and eagles as well. The eagles are trained to aid them in their hunting expeditions.
The Dukha tribe is so far from civilization and I must say…they seem to have the right idea!
