The other main star of The Big Bang Theory aside from Jim Parsons is Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard Hofstadter, the not as eccentric physicist who shares an apartment with the character of Parsons. When he first joined the cast in the hit sitcom, he was making about $60,000 per episode. Not bad for someone who has not appeared in many movies prior to the show airing (he still does not). However, from the second season to the fourth, he earned $250,000 per episode, and it grew to $350,000 from the 5th until the 7th season. But it didn’t stop there, it was reputed that he received close to $1 million per episode from the 8th season onward. In total, he made more than $160 million from the show, with $10 million a year as passive income from reruns, just like Jim Parsons. He was floating in cash, and bought a $9.2 million 6-bedroom mansion in LA which had Jason Statham and Ben Stiller as previous celebrity owners.
