The show Frasier also featured David Hyde Pierce as Frasier Crane’s brother, Dr. Niles Crane, a psychiatrist, which really added color to the show by being a great supporting role to Kelsey Grammer’s lead character. The show was considered “the smartest show on television” for quite some time. It seems that many loved the “intellectual” humour which made it a bit different from the run-of-the-mill comedy shows. But it was no joke how it’s reruns paid-off for Pierce. The show’s residuals racked up around $40 million in total so far. While it may not be as much as what Kelsey Grammer gets, Pierce is definitely not envious or complaining.
