Woods is an admitted serial cheater. He said that he has had affairs with numerous women while he was married to Nordegren. But now, as he told Time magazine, his ex-wife is one of his “best friends.” He talked more about that statement when he appeared as a guest on The Late Show in 2016. Stephen Colbert, the show’s host, questioned how that was possible considering how it ended. Woods, 41, answered, “It becomes two simple things, okay? We have Sam and we have Charlie. And we love them so much that we are going to whatever it takes to make that work. That’s how it happened.”
