The famous ice-cream company Baskin Robins has released a turkey ice cream cake for Thanksgiving and it’s nothing short of spectacular – sort of. As it turns out, it’s not a new item to their menu, either.
It does look sort of look like a plastic toy turkey.
These cakes have actually been in existence since the 1970s, though they’ve gradually become shinier and more realistic-looking over the course of 50 years. Now, it may even be hard to tell that it’s a cake – not really! That is, until you cut into it.

The glaze is made of caramel praline and the legs are made of sugar cones. There are a number of different flavors for shoppers to choose from, too.
