It has been 9-years since young Caylee Anthony was found dead in a wooded area. Caylee had been missing for a month before her body was discovered.

Her mother, Casey Anthony displayed extremely odd behavior during the days Caylee was missing. Caylee was last seen on June 16, 2008, and was reported missing by Casey Anthony’s mother on July 15, 2008.

During that time period, Casey was said to be out partying with friends and acting as though nothing was wrong.

Eventually Casey Anthony was charged with the wrongful death of her daughter and her trial became a national sensation. The trial was filled with shocking twists and turns and ultimately Casey was found ‘not-guilty’. There was an incredible uproar when the verdict was read, because just about everyone in the world at that time, figured Casey Anthony had just got away with murder.

Casey went into hiding for the last 9-years, only resurfacing once a few years ago in a Youtube video, where she simply stated she was keeping a low profile. That video is below.

Now, Casey speaks out in rare interview with the Associated Press, in which she again denied knowing much about how Caylee Anthony passed away.

Casey knows that many people still believe she killed Caylee, despite her acquittal in 2011. “Caylee would be 12 right now and would be a total badass,” the Florida resident said. “I would like to think she’d be listening to classic rock and playing sports and not taking s–t from anybody.”
