A 21-Year Old Winston Churchill

Most people are used to seeing the honorable Winston Churchill as a much older gentleman. But this photo portrays a 21-year old Churchill back in 1985, who served as the Cornet in the 4th Queen’s Hussar’s Cavalry. Known for his quotes, and one of Great Britain’s best politicians, he is probably also one of the most cited individuals and most beloved Prime Ministers in all of Britain’s history. One of his more famous quotes was, “All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope,” words that still ring true up to this very day.
