Beautiful and pristine remote island, one of almost 300 in the Bay of Bengal. But, beware, you are not welcome here! A tribe of indigenous people inhabit this island, the Sentinelese, and they don’t like strangers. They are oblivious to the ways of the world, are in fact primitive in their ways, but that’s about all that is known of them. Visitors have been killed once they get near. A plane of photographers that passed by for a closer look was riddled with over 100 arrows. Why the Indian military has not addressed this problem is not understood.
