Kipu Falls in Hawaii may be the most deceiving scenic spot of the state. While it may look tranquil and refreshing, it is dangerous. It has a reputation for drowning deaths, and the company that owns the land where the falls are located decided to block the access route. Plus the strategic warning signs around make it evident that swimming is not allowed. It may be a beautiful, hidden place, but some things beautiful are quite deadly. There is some speculation that there is a powerful whirlpool underneath the sucks swimmers and drowns them. Still, several tourists opt to not follow the warning signs and take a swim.
