“Yes ma’am my son … we’re at KFC and my son, he’s not breathing.”

Those were the words of a distraught Texas father to the 911 emergency operator Oct. 12 after his 3-year-old boy became unresponsive. In the background, the child’s mother can be heard sobbing, “Brayden, Brayden!”

Granbury police officer Chase Miller happened to be scanning the radio channels and realized he was just a minute away from the family. Miller rushed to the scene and to the aid of the child.

Dashcam video shows Miller drive into the KFC parking lot and taking the limp child, from his mother.

Miller lays Brayden on the ground and begins CPR while the boy’s parents watch in fear.

Miller instructed the boy’s father on how to help and together, the two were able to get the boy breathing again.

Brayden was rushed to a local hospital where he was treated and made a full recovery, according to the Star-Telegram.

Miller was recently honored for saving the boys life.

The boy’s favorite cartoon show on TV is Paw Patrol. And the boy’s favorite character on Paw Patrol is…… you guessed it, CHASE. So Officer Chase Miller presented the boy with his version of Chase to remember the moment by.
