One mom is catching a ton of criticism over a picture she posted on social media depicting a massive stack of Christmas presents placed in front of her Christmas tree. The presents, are all for her children.
Emma Tapping from England posted a picture of a pile of Christmas gifts so high that you can barely see the actual Christmas tree in the background.
There is no doubt that the amount of presents shown in the picture is overwhelming and very plentiful, but does that really give folks the right to criticize Ms. Tapping? We will leave it up to you to answer that question.
The photo sparked outrage, with some saying she was spoiling her kids, others calling her materialistic and some saying that this showed that the “world has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.”
Tapping responded to the remarks, and said “I love Christmas [sic] I love spoiling my kids in the festive season and I work work damn hard to make sure it is every bit as amazing as it can be.”
What do you think? Should Ms. Tapping be receiving a ton of flack over working hard and choosing to spoil her children? After all, there are many, many rich people out there who probably work much less and purchase luxurious, frivolous gifts such as cars and homes for people during the Christmas season.
