Another of the better breeds for seniors, even if they can be loud. They are loyal, friendly, love to play, and don’t need much grooming. They are also great with kids, so the seniors would not have a problem when the grandchildren visit. They especially love to cuddle. Sleeping on the bed beside you is not surprising.The more attention given to the beagle, the happier it will be. They do need some exercise though. Seniors who like to stroll in a park are perfect for the beagle. Just remember they are scent hounds. So always keep them leashed outdoors, you don’t want them scurrying away to follow a certain scent.
