Former President Donald Trump will be America’s 47th President of the United States.
For months there has been talk about how tight the race for President was between former President Trump and Vice President Harris. Polls seemed to show Harris as the projected winner with Trump close behind. That all changed on election night.
Trump was able to secure the most important swing states, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and with those wins, he secured the presidency. As it stands right now, Trump has won with a total of 277 electoral votes to Harris’ 224. There are still states that have yet to report their final numbers, but even with those states unreported, Harris has no chance of winning.

Donald Trump will be America’s 47th President of the United States.
Harris simply didn’t perform well in many states throughout the country. Her numbers were behind Trump and behind Biden’s numbers from the 2020 election. Trump was able to take primarily Democratic states and flip them Republican.
A major reason as to why Trump did so well was voter turnout. The younger generation turned out big time for Trump with new young male voters increasing by 62% this election. Many believe that it’s because Trump sat down with Joe Rogan on his wildly popular podcast. Rogan’s three hour interview with Trump reached over 80 million people collectively online.
