The Orlando gunman stated to a 911 operator: “I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.”

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Sunday the FBI would release transcripts of the 911 calls with Orlando gunman Omar Mateen.

The transcript indicates negotiations lasted about 28 minutes between investigators and Mateen.

“He did so in a chilling, calm, deliberate manner,” said FBI’s Ronald Hopper of the tone the shooter had in the conversations.

He said Mateen identified himself as a “soldier of Islam.”
