Tom Schruben lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife and young daughter. He’s 62 years old and does consulting on environmental engineering. He is also the neighborhood funny man!
When the pandemic hit, Tom was filled with uncertainty like many other people across the globe. So instead of freaking out about it, he decided to do something to ease the worries of those around him.
Tom started putting up a whiteboard in front of his family house every morning with a new dad joke, and the fun little initiative was just what people, including Tom himself needed.
The daily dad jokes began to take on a whole new life of their own. Once social media got a hold of the daily jokes, people from around the world began joining in and having a good daily laugh!
