Over time any cooking tool can lose the muster it once had as stains set in and the normal shine gets covered up. Instead of going out and repurchasing the same things whenever they get too worse for wear, did you know there’s a few simple solutions you can make at home that will completely clear it all up?

Here’s a few that you can put together that will make your baking dishes look brand new again, but make sure you pick the right combination for the right dish type!

Glass or Pyrex Dishes Look Grimy? Use the following to bring them back to life!

  • Baking Soda
  • Water
  • Liquid Dish Soap
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Old Toothbrush

This one is relatively simple to do for how much of a pain it is to remove these types of stains normally, and you’ll kick yourself for never doing it before. All you need to do is to take a toothbrush, dip it into the dish soap and then into some baking soda; after that you simply rub it on in a circular motion and allow it to dry for 20-30 minutes. When that’s done you scrub it off with some crumpled aluminum foil and voila!

Stainless Steel Cookie Sheets

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Baking Soda
  • Rough Scrubbing Pad

This one makes life incredible simple because after assembling the concoction any gunked up junk just comes right off. All you need to do is spread some baking soda in/on the sheet, then some hydrogen peroxide, then some more baking soda and you let it sit for a couple hours. You’ll be amazed how easily everything gets clean!
