In one of the stranger incidents that the California Highway Patrol dealt with last weekend, was a dude driving a go-kart down a very busy highway as police gave chase.
It all went down on the Interstate 880 in Oakland. The go-kart is seen in the video ripping down the road while a black unmarked police SUV is in full pursuit.
No word as of yet if they ever caught the guy on a go-kart. However, this may be a common thing as a tweeter known as @Tonka_Boy_Dre reported that there are many go-kart riders and dirt bikers who rip through the streets and taunt the police. They will sometimes hit the highways for a stretch as well.
Definitely something you don’t see everyday!
